Zara's Latest Minimalistic Collab Is Basically My Dream Winter Wardrobe

Every so often there comes along a fashion collaboration so good it's worth setting your alarms for, and right now we can't stop talking about what we're confident will be one of the best offerings of the year—a second collection from Zara and Studio Nicholson.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Studio Nicholson's pared-back approach to functional dressing began in 2010, founded by Chelsea School of Art alumni Nick Wakeman. And, after years of experience in design, Wakeman's vision to launch a brand that would draw inspiration from architecture and interiors lead to Studio Nicholson, and a focus on versatile, elegant and hard-working pieces pieces that would form the basis of the ultimate modular wardrobe, in short, the perfect capsule.
What better concept then to bring to the high street for shoppers who are overwhelmed with choice and caught up in the throes of fast fashion? After building on the success of the first collaboration last year, Studio Nicholson and Zara have joined forces again, this time resulting in a collection that spans menswear, homewear and womenswear for the first time, and it's every bit as chic as the campaign imagery suggests.
In the mix you can expect wool coats, tailoring, soft knits, and sleek yet simple accessories (in short, everything we'd like to wear on repeat this winter), and for those who are drawn to the minimalist aesthetic of The Row, Jil Sander or Margaret Howell (but not the four figure price tag), you're going to find a lot to love in this capsule. And, should you be wondering about the quality of the pieces, alongside Studio Nicholson's eye for well-crafted detail, there's also deliberate care given to the choosing the right fabrics too. There's a signature trench in organic cotton, an insulated jacket filled with recycled down, voluminous puddle pants in Responsible Wool Standard certified wool, and what are cosily known as "cocooning knits" in recycled cashmere blends to make sure every piece feels as good as they look.
So, having now waxed lyrical about what team Who What Wear are calling the "dream wardrobe", it's best for you to see the pieces for yourself, so keep scrolling to shop the highlights we're adding to our baskets now. That's what to wear this winter sorted.
