We've Discussed It, and These Other 6 Brands Are Just as Good as Zara

Zara needs absolutely no introduction. That's for sure. From Instagram accounts honouring a trending Zara coat or spotty dress to being the Duchess of Cambridge's go-to for classic staples, Zara can do no wrong. But did you know that the high-street mega-brand also owns a load of other different, but just as great, high-street labels? It might have passed you by, as each of the sister brands has its own identity which is distinctly different from the original. In fact, you might not even have realised Zara is part of the same group.

There's Massimo Dutti, which is a more grown-up sort of label, offering chic separates such as cashmere cardigans and leather shirts. Uterqüe is the fashion-forward brand where you'll find brightly coloured shirts and bold silhouettes. There are also stores such as Bershka that are aimed at a slightly younger audience and are brilliant for indulging in your love of all things '90s.

Of course, with such a wealth of brands to go through, there's no denying it will be a little overwhelming. That's where we step in. We've gone through all the six sister Zara brands and have highlighted which pieces are worth your time right now. From satin shirts to lingerie as well as cool accessories and trend-led shoes, keep scrolling.

1. UTERQÜE

After a truly amazing piece that isn't designer? Zara-related brand Uterqüe is where you need to go. Find bold orange shirts and leather jackets that look straight off the runway, as well as chunky lace-up shoes and feathered tops. 

2. BERSHKA

Bershka is great for those on a slightly smaller budget than Zara prices. Ideal for the '90s look too. Find oversize blazers, cute T-shirts and basic sweaters. 

3. MASSIMO DUTTI

Minimalists, listen up. This one's for you. Massimo Dutti knows what it's doing when it comes to chic pieces. All the brand's items are pared back in muted tones. Choose from the gorgeous leather shirts, classic blazers, oversize shirts and wear-all-the-time jeans. A wardrobe staples mecca. 

4. PULL & BEAR

Perhaps one of its more lesser-known labels, Pull&Bear offers affordable fashion for a slightly younger demographic. You have to hunt a little more to find the right pieces—I've got my eye on the checked shacket and the shoulder pad T-shirt. 

5. OYSHO

Thanks to the pandemic, we've all been looking for comfy WFH-friendly pieces. Which is why I'm so pleased that Oysho is around. Pegged as the sleepwear and lingerie arm of the Inditex family, this is exactly where you want to find soft cashmere co-ords, cosy knits and great PJs. A real winner for 2020, that's for sure. 

6. STRADIVARIUS

Last, we have Stradivarius. I'd say this brand bridges the gap between the younger brands and Zara. It's still more affordable but you can find some real gems such as the knee-high cowboy boots and the fringed overshirt.
