Last Summer's Instagram-Famous Shoes From Zara Are Finally Back
We all know Zara can jump on a trend in the blink of an eye, but every now and then, the e-tailer actually sets the agenda first. Case in point? A pair of polka-dot slingbacks that were released last summer that were instantly snapped up by the street style elite and sold out rapidly. But the good news is that today Zara has brought us another pair of polka-dot pumps that we think might be even better than the first pair.
We're not surprised these polka-dot pumps were a hit, as they combine three factors that make them the ultimate Insta shoes. Any fashion insider can spot a "taxi" shoe a mile off, and these days, it's just not hip to hobble about—comfort is now our number one go-to. You also need a footwear choice that has a talking point or some obvious validity as to why it's being photographed: A snap of a simple pair of court shoes sounds rather boring, doesn't it? That's why prints, embellishment, unusual heel shapes, and bright colors work so well. Just think of the craziness that ensues when anyone posts these Minnie Mouse heels. Thirdly, there are brownie points to be won if the shoes are actually affordable. That's why the M&S range never really stays a secret for long and why plenty of fashion fans snap up Zara shoes on the regular.
Although Camille's polka-dot pair was an instant sell-out, we reckon the new style launched on the site today has equal selfie status. Keep scrolling to snap up the shoes before they inevitably sell out.
Zara's Polka-Dot Shoes ($50) are not the only heels that do the job, but their introduction has prompted our fashion team to get searching for similar items. Keep scrolling to shop these Zara shoes before they sell out and see some equally photo-worthy alternatives.
