I Never Find Denim Trends Exciting—But Then I Saw Zara's New Drop
I love my jeans as much as the next person, however, out of all the new-collections emails that land in my inbox, those regarding denim are the ones that tend to excite me the least. How much newness can you really get with a pair of blue jeans? Zara showed me why I've got this all wrong this week with the launch of its autumn denim collection. Zara has reimagined the denim tuxedo, creating co-ords in light, classic and indigo washes which feel really premium considering the duos are all under £100.
The denim shirts and straight-leg jeans are a ready-made bank holiday outfit—however, it is the inky midi skirt that our team has really fallen for. This is a high-waisted skirt with a jagged, ripped hemline which falls on the calf and a defined central seam running down the skirt. We particularly love how it is styled on the Zara site, with the matching shirt tucked into the waistband and a pair of black leather boots.
