The Zara Trend I'm Skipping Until Further Notice

I'm usually here for the trends that Zara endorses each season. Even if said trend doesn't last forever, I'm happy to know that I have somewhere to turn for the most of-the-moment looks on the market and can try them without breaking the bank. But one of the newest trends that Zara is throwing its weight behind—i.e., an editorial campaign and many pieces to shop—is logomania.

As you know, the crux behind the logomania craze that's swept the nation over the past few seasons are designer brands like Gucci, Fendi, and Off-White as well as well-known athleisure brands like Adidas and Fila. Fast-fashion brands don't usually opt to splash their logos all over their wares, though—until now, that is. Zara's logomania collection includes streetwear-inspired pieces emblazoned with "Zara" and several more polished ones covered with abstract "Z" graphics, similar to Fendi's take on the trend.

While I appreciate the irony of showcasing to the world that you're wearing Zara, I prefer to keep my Zara pieces a little subtler, but I am curious to see how well the collection sells. At this point, a couple of items are listed as best sellers, and a couple are already out of stock. If Zara keeps making logo pieces, we'll know that people must definitely be on board. To each their own. Keep scrolling to shop chic Zara logo pieces.
