The second the first warm day comes along, my attention shifts to all things swimwear, partly because of my job as a fashion editor and partly because I prefer to spend 99% of my time in the summer in a bikini or one-piece. So because of the extra-hot weather over the last few weeks, I've already spent quite a few hours scouring the swimwear offerings this year. My biggest takeaway? Zara, H&M, and Mango have seriously stepped up their games in the department.

From upside-down bikinis to elegant maillots decorated with floral appliqués, the swimwear designers at Zara, H&M, and Mango went hard this summer. And since their prices don't come close to ones at many swimwear brands, where a separate bikini top could cost you upward of $200, you can really stock up for the season ahead without totally breaking the bank. At least, that's what I plan on doing.

Keep on scrolling to shop all the best swimwear from Zara, H&M, and Mango.
