Anyone who knows me well (or at all really) is probably aware of my almost sick obsession with Zara. I say "sick" because back when I used to work full-time in an office, I’d casually pop into the nearby Zara location upwards of three times a week just to see what was new. Now that work is more digital, I’ve taken to checking in with its website on an even more diligent basis. Because of that, when the Spanish fashion brand drops something new, I’m usually among the first to know about it.

It was on one of my far-too-regular scrolls through the new-arrivals section that I discovered the ultimate Zara find: a seemingly endless selection of faux-leather styles—and not just the same ones we've seen time and time again in fashion. Sure, there are plenty of buy-worthy shearling jackets, trousers, and oversize blazers to go around. But what stood out most in the collection were the silhouettes that haven't (yet) made a splash this season. Think monochrome faux-leather sets in shades of Kelly green (Zara's It color for the season and a fast favorite of Kate Middleton's), chocolate brown, and royal purple. Fellow winners include leather corset dresses, red leather leggings, and patent leather micro-minis. Intrigued yet? You should be.

Ahead, see what all the hype is about.
