The Zara Boxing Day Sale Is Still Going—These 31 Expensive-Looking Buys Won't Hang Around

Retailers used to stick to a strict timeline when it came to sales, with Boxing Day marking the start of all of the reductions. However now sales start as early as the first week of December, with very few brands sticking to the traditional schedule—however, Zara is the exception here. The Zara sales always start online at 10 p.m. the day before the in-store sale begins, and so every year it begins on Christmas Day evening at 9pm. And luckily for all of us, the sale is still going on.

In recent years, the brand has revealed what products will be in the sale on the 23rd December, Christmas Eve eve, so you can prep your baskets ahead of time. The best sales shopping tip I've picked up is to add items to your wish list in advance of sales so that you are certain you are buying things you truly want (discount or no discount) and it saves you time aimlessly scrolling through thousands of promotions.

Now the sale has arrived and continued into the new year, I have put together a wish list of 31 pieces that I think are worth considering, with an edit of classic coats, knitwear and boots that will prove to be wise investments. Scroll on to discover some more of my tips, then shop my edit.

When is the Next Zara Sale?

Zara's 2024 Boxing Day began on the brand's app on the evening of Christmas Day on Wednesday 25 December 2024 at 9pm. followed by on-site an hour later. The Zara Boxing Day sale then rolls out in-store the next day on Boxing Day itself. Traditionally, the brand does not extend its in-store opening hours for Boxing Day. However, the sale is currently still going.

Does Zara Always Have a Boxing Day 2024 Sale?

Zara has had a Boxing Day sale every year for as long as I've been a fashion editor—that's over 14 years! 2024 was no different, with Zara's Boxing Day Sale starting at 9pm on Christmas Eve on the Zara app.

What Will Zara's Boxing Day Discount Be?

Last year, Zara offered up to 40% off selected products for Boxing Day, and in 2024, the deals are the same with up to 40% off some perfect capsule buys.

How Long Does Zara's Boxing Day Sale Last for?

Zara tends to change the length of its Boxing Day sale each year, which doesn't help when it comes to predicting what the brand will do. However, I will say this—the best Zara Boxing Day deals get snapped up fast, so even if the sale lasts until the end of January 2025, chances are you'll have missed out on the pieces you want if you don't act quick.
