This Fresh Color Is Already Winning in 2018
There’s been big talk about Millennial Pink over the last few years. Then red last fall. And now all eyes are on pastel-hued shades like lilac and lavender. And while each of those shades have been predominant in the street style scene, yellow is another fresh color we’ve been seeing everywhere. We’ll admit that the color can be tricky to pull off, but it only took a glance at photos of some of our favorite fashion girls to discover some seriously stylish ways to pull off the challenging hue, whether it’s worn as a statement coat, layered from head-to-toe in different shades, or as an accent to an otherwise subtle look. Keep scrolling for all the inspiration you’ll need.
If you really want to lean into a yellow outfit, go bold with a bright coat.
Try layering different shades.
Mix mustard pants with a bright pink top.
Tonal dressing is a cool way to experiment with color.
This floor-sweeping dress is on trend with the current Western pieces we’re seeing.
A faux-fur coat always makes a statement, especially when it’s an unexpected color.
If you want to add a small pop of color, try working it in with smaller accent details.
We love these pastel trousers.
Swap out your black or brown boots for a fun yellow pair.
