We're pretty sure you already know all about Kanye West's crazy-popular Yeezy sock ankle boot trend. They've been spotted many times on the Kardashian-Jenner clan of course, but they're also favorited by fashionable celebs like Hailey Baldwin and Emily Ratajkowski. The only problem? They tend to sell out crazy fast, and not everyone has $895 on hand to invest in a pair.
Thanks to Marie Claire introducing us to one seriously genius blogger, however, there's now a DIY version available. Shay Cherise, aka @thenuvogue, has figured out a way to make them yourself with just a pair of socks, pointed pumps, sandpaper, scissors, and a hot glue gun. Just take a thicker sock and slide it over the shoe, then cut a hole for the heel, and glue a piece of sandpaper to the sole for stability. With a DIY as simple as this, it's no wonder the trend is taking Instagram by a storm. We might just try it out ourselves!
