Whether your office is casual, creative, corporate, or one of the many, many other workplace cultures out there, you’ve probably struggled with the seemingly simple task of finding shoes for work. I call it seemingly simply because as we’ve all had to learn eventually, it’s actually quite difficult. Add seasonality in there, and you’re looking at at least two entire sets of different options per year, maybe more.

Additionally, what I’ve learned through talking to my peers and acquaintances is that finding work-appropriate footwear in the warmer months is exponentially more difficult than in the colder ones where simple pumps or boots might fly. Navigating the waters of office-appropriate open-toe options is where it really gets rough.

So, seeing as the temperatures have finally started to rise, I thought it would be a fitting time to roundup some sandals you can wear to your 9-to-5 and beyond. From super-polished options for those more formal companies to flat slides for more casual environments to some in-betweeners such as the leopard mules that would definitely garner a ton of compliments around Who What Wear HQ, we’ve got something for every style and office type. Start shopping below.

Now that you've got the shoes, you're ready to really dominate office dressing this season.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
