These 3 Winter-Ready Looks Are So Easy to Put Together

For Jenee’ Naylor—the style expert behind HighLowLuxxe—few things go together better than leather and winter. "Just like pumpkin-spice lattes and fall, may the two never part ways!” exclaims the St. Louis–born-and-raised blogger, who now splits her time between Virginia and NYC. "Leather and faux leather are super easy to layer, dress up or down, and make an outfit more fashion-forward.”
Inspired by her undying devotion to one of our favorite fabrics, not to mention her flair for one of our favorite fashion decades ("I’m a ’90s ‘gworl’ through and through,” she notes), we tapped Naylor for her must-have winter looks, and to say that they didn’t disappoint is an understatement. Full of oversize denim and leather galore, they’re festive, but in a cool-girl way—and actually quite easy to re-create. Read on for three very vital, very effortless winter looks we’ve already bookmarked for our own winter dressing needs. Best of all, you can scoop up all of the key pieces from AG, our go-to destination for classic pieces that stand the test of time.
"I created this look with some of my favorite staples: knee-high white-leather boots, a leather biker jacket, and a simple turtleneck sweaterdress paired with my black-and-white bag and white sunnies,” Naylor says. "I love this look because it represents my favorite genre of outfits: casual with a bit of extra. You can never go wrong with a classic black-and-white look, and the cut of the vegan leather jacket matched with the boots gives it that classic, elevated feel. This look is perfect for a girls’ night out or for an event in the city, especially for those cooler winter evenings. You could also add a bold lip for a pop of color!”
"This look has a bit of a different vibe that can easily take you from a work event with colleagues to a cocktail happy hour or even to a dinner party with friends,” Naylor explains. "I started with the floral print in the shirt, pairing it with some classic vegan leather pants and really playing with accessories to bring the vision together. The sparkly headband matched with the metallic pouch really adds in those details that make an outfit come alive. The magenta shoes just set it off completely, as they complement the undertones of the blouse. For extra-chilly nights, you could pair this with an oversize blazer across your shoulders while maintaining that chic look.”
"This third and final look has me written all over it!” says Naylor. "I went full casual for a more relaxed, everyday feel. The black-leather jacket paired with the baggy denim, white button-down tee, and pointed boots really speak to the ’90s girl within me. My mini bag adds to that overall elevated look and feel while keeping things super casual—perfect for running weekend errands or a chill movie date night in the winter. You can style this with just about any type of white tee or button-down, and swap out the black handbag for a tote or crossbody to keep the casual vibes going.”
