This Is What Celebrities Are Wearing Instead of Nude Heels Now
Sponsor Content Created With Who What Wear, Target
While there was once a time when nude heels reigned supreme in the celebrity world (both on and off the red carpet) as the go-to leg-lengthening shoe choice, these days, it seems that our favorite trendsetters have swapped the longtime favorite for something a bit more festive. While equally as neutral, flattering, and classic, metallic heeled sandals—the new go-to—feel not only more forward but also more versatile, working for day or night and any outfit or occasion.
To illustrate and help you make the transition from nude heels to metallic, today, we're not only showing you how nine of our favorite It girls wear the staple, but we're also making it easy to shop their exact shoes plus our very own $35 take on the style in both silver and rose gold (naturally). So whether you're ready to splurge or want to save on an affordable (yet amazing) find, we've got you covered.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
