Whitney Port's Chic H&M Shirt Can Double as a Halloween Costume

The countdown is on: T minus seven days until Halloween. Is your costume ready? When you're putting together anything last minute, versatility is key—it's always better to buy something you can wear on normal days rather than wasting money on a one-and-done costume for the holiday. Enter Whitney Port's latest outfit.

Her H&M Silk-Blend Blouse ($70) looks sophisticated tucked into a pair of trousers, but you could easily play up the '70s vibe of the blouse for a Studio 54 Halloween costume. (Similar to Chrissy Teigen's recent metallic jumpsuit, no?) Just add exaggerated flared jeans, oversize sunnies, and big hair, et voilà—you've got yourself a chic look for the 31st. And for other days, the metallic blouse can even work for the office when teamed with pared down pieces like black skinny jeans or a pencil skirt. However you slice it, you can definitely get a lot of mileage out of this cool top.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
