Jamie Chung Proves It's Okay to Match Your Accessories
Pablo Picasso once said, "Learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist." Of course, he was referring to art, but the sentiment can be just as easily applied to fashion. There are many fashion "rules" that are totally okay to break when done the right way.
One style rule breaker we love is Jamie Chung. She stepped out for an event this week in a delicate Elizabeth and James dress, and get this—she color-coordinated her accessories. The bag and shoes were the same rich cobalt blue hue, which was key to making the look work, as colors that are too different might look accidental. Her white dress also provided a neutral backdrop for just a couple colorful pieces to shine. The result was an ensemble that looked very artful and not at all overdone.
