Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas That Aren’t Over-the-Top Cheesy
With Valentine’s Day a little over a week away, it's time to start planning your date night outfit. The whole Valentine’s Day situation can get real cheesy, real fast, and if the idea of getting ‘dressed up’ for a dinner date with your S.O. isn’t all that enticing, I’ve got some alternatives for you. Ripped denim, heels, and slinky slip dresses are the direction I’m heading in. Keep scrolling for seven outfit ideas to try this Valentine’s Day.
Trial this Are You Am I off-the-shoulder top, with vintage-style jeans from Ksubi.
Dress down this pretty floral dress from Nicholas with flat white boots from Balenciaga.
So this is bordering on the cheesy side with the pink and red colours, but it stays cool with the low-key T-shirt. Recreate the look with this vintage tee from Storeroom Vintage, and metallic skirt from Warehouse.
You can't go wrong with a black top and jeans. Make it look interesting with this flare sleeve option from Forever New (it's on sale for $20!), and ripped jeans from Insight.
An army jacket is the easiest way to dress down any look. We love this one from Spell & The Gypsy Collective, worn with this linen dress from Scanlan Theodore.
So if you are headed somewhere super fancy on February 14, we found the perfect evening gown. It's from Bec & Bridge, and you'll feel like a million bucks. Add these pumps from Wittner to keep it edgy.
The robe is one of the trends we love most RN. This one from Attico will look sexy without trying to hard, when shrugged over a slip dress from Chosen.
