I'm Going to Capri Next Week—Here Are the Exact Items I'm Considering Buying for My Trip
In just over a week, I'm headed back to the island of Capri, repeating my trip from last summer down to the lunch and dinner reservations. Of course, while my itinerary is nearly identical, one thing that will change is my vacation wardrobe. Sure, it will be in the same vein as years past with a few of my favorite old pieces sprinkled in, but when half the fun of traveling is the shopping, you know I have to throw some new and exciting purchases in there.
And just what is in my cart? Quite a lot. Way too much. But to hold myself accountable and narrow things down, I figured I’d put it all out there for myself (and you) to see before I start making the hard cuts. Curious to see what’s on my many wish lists and in all my carts? Simply keep scrolling for a behind-the-scenes look.
I think about this dress daily.
I want this, I want the matching bathing suit, and pretty much every other Posse item this season.
Flat sandals are most definitely the vibe and no brand does it better.
I actually already bought this along with the matching shorts.
The matching skirt is a must.
If this wasn't preorder only, I'd be all over it.
The contrast of the mismatched bottoms is so good.
Should I even tell you about the matching miniskirt?
I have it in white, now I want it in black, too.
I'd wear this with everything from white jeans to a black miniskirt.
Your basic tube top that goes with everything, just a million times better.
I'm actually not sure why I haven't already ordered these.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
