Wednesday March 8 is International Women's Day, and there's never been a better or more important time for the world to come together. It's a time for women around the world to celebrate and show our commitment to the social, economic, and political achievement of women.
Following the extremely successful Women's March on January 21 (where over five million people marched around the world), the world has shown its commitment to equality.
Today a new initiative begins—A Day Without Women—to recognise the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system.
