There are so many good sale events happening right now. I swear, every week a new retailer I love announces their big sale of the season and I fill up my cart with the things I've been coveting. It's both great and bad news for my wallet all at once—I'm getting some deals but I'm also spending money again.

But there are some sales that you really can't pass up—one of my number ones is Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. Nordstrom holds it once a year and the offerings are always just so good. In previous years, I've snagged boots that have lasted me more than five years, workwear to impress for a new job, beauty buys for a restock, and denim that made me rethink my stance on jeans (I used to hate wearing them).
