We're Starting the Conversation: Is It Time to Bring Back the Bangle?
There's nothing more feminine than a few special pieces of jewellery that you make your own in a personal way. We’ve seen the gold-chain pendant necklace make its debut, and who could forget the statement gold earrings that we’ve been matching with everything season after season? As spring rolls around, so do new trends and for jewellery, we’re calling it: It’s time to bring back the bangle.
Since there’s a few names for it (read: bracelet, cuff, etc.) we’re breaking the accessory down for clarity on how and where to wear it.
The forever bangle: The special, quality bangle that’s worth investing in. Tiffany & Co. have a variety that are timeless. Wear it among your other special pieces on occasion and keep in mind you’ll most likely want to pass this piece down the family in years to come.
The statement bangle: This is a fun addition to your existing accessory wardrobe. For spring and summer, you can’t go wrong with Australian jewellery label Dinosaur Designs for quirky, unique resin bangles you can wear on the beach or by the pool.
The everyday bangle: Jewellery designers such as Holly Ryan and Natasha Schweitzer are perfect for everyday pieces you can wear to the office and pair with your watch and stacked rings. We’ve seen the stylish woman from all over the world style bangles in their own personal way, which makes us inspired for effortless jewellery combining. Whether you’re wearing a plain cotton tee shirt and jeans or an understated satin slip dress, the bangle is super easy to style.
