From East to West Coast: The Spring Items Our Editors Are Adding to Their Carts
Sponsor Content Created With Walmart
There seems to be a friendly competition between the East and West when it comes to style. Sure, both coasts are undoubtedly chic—but in their own unique ways. As a West Coast editor, I'm the first to admit that I sometimes find myself lusting after our East Coast editors' looks, which tend to be a bit sleeker, more put-together, and edgier. In the same breath, I'm perfectly content with my no-fuss uniform of jeans and a T-shirt (always played up with a trending accessory or two). With spring upon us and so many new looks that just hit the runways, we wanted to ensure you were getting the full 360 view on all the best spring trends that your favorite It girls will be wearing from coast to coast.
To nail down our spring looks, New York–based editor Natalie Cantell and I are sourcing go-to pieces from Walmart that feel stylish and on trend no matter your price point. Scroll to shop the NY-ready Walmart looks she's adding to her bag and the L.A.-approved Walmart pieces I'm adding to mine.
I love that New Yorkers seem to reinvent their looks from one day to the next. Nothing ever feels out of place, and I feel like it gives me permission to mix and match really contradictory pieces. For spring, I'm embracing all the unlikely combos. I'm buying classic pearl accessories to pair with modern, all-beige ensembles while also making room in my closet for biker shorts (surprisingly perfect with blazers) and, let's be honest, yet another pair of sneakers. Whether it's a simple jean-and-tee combo or a boho dress with some subtle accessories, California style is effortless and never too fussy or serious (we live by the beach, after all). To mirror this laid-back vibe this season, I'm leaning way into easy graphic tees, gold jewelry, a boho dress or two and plenty of bright accessories. Shop my Walmart picks below.
