Victoria Beckham's "Naked" Styling Idea Is Very Kim Kardashian West
Kim Kardashian West's much-loved "naked" trend has been worn by A-listers from Bella Hadid to Beyoncé (and even Kate Middleton, in an entry-level kind of way), but one fashion icon we thought we'd never see take inspiration from KKW was, of course, Victoria Beckham. Until today, that is. Leaving her Dover Street store after hosting an art exhibit with Sotheby's last night, Beckham wore a pair of black skinny trousers teamed with a tailored blazer—so far, so VB—but in an unexpected move, the designer layered her separates over a nude bodysuit very reminiscent of Kim Kardashian West circa 2016. Of course, nowadays, KKW prefers to just go actually nude under her tuxedo.
Worn like Beckham under sleek tailoring, a nude body is an easy way to let stylish suits take center stage without detracting from the vibe by adding a new color. It's also a softer alternative to all black or the stark contrast between black and white.
Likewise, if you're not quite brave enough for KKW's braless approach to power dressing, you'll find your chic workaround in VB's latest styling trick.
