Washing your jeans is like washing your hair: Everyone does it differently, and everyone has opinions on it. When it comes to jeans, some people insist that frequent washing is the only way to keep them clean while others subscribe to alternative techniques like putting jeans in the freezer. As it turns out, Victoria Beckham is in a different camp entirely: She doesn't wash her jeans "at all."

In a new interview with Elle, Beckham reveals that she'll only concede if her kids get in the way. "If the kids spill [something on them], then I have to wash them, obviously, but even then it's only on cold wash. And normally, no, I just don't wash them at all," she told Elle. "I normally hang my jeans up, to be honest with you, to keep the shape." Beckham's philosophy begs the question: How often do you wash your jeans? We have a feeling there's a wide variety of answers coming our way.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
