Victoria Beckham Just Brought Back These Controversial '00s Shoes

After nearly a decade out of sight, we thought we were standing assuredly over the grave of this noughties shoe trend. That is to say, we thought they died alongside the decade, but clearly, Victoria Beckham thinks otherwise. The designer stepped out in NYC last week in her signature uniform of sleek tailoring—save for one item. She swapped her usual single-sole pumps for a pair with a much more daunting platform sole.

But if anyone can dust off the controversial heels in a totally chic way, it's Victoria Beckham. In fact, Beckham styled the sky-high heels so flawlessly, we did a double-take before realizing what they were. She wore a thin striped knit, which she tucked into a pair of wide-leg pants that flowed effortlessly over the heels.

Keep reading to see how Victoria Beckham made the throwback heels look polished and to shop her combo of a thin sweater and wide-leg pants.
