Victoria Beckham’s New Outfit Confirms This Pretty Shoe Trend Is Key for Spring

If you want to know what's in fashion now, Victoria Beckham is usually a pretty good indicator of anything current. A fashion designer in her own right as well an avid collector of designer objects that don't bear her name, Beckham's outfits are a sound reflection of what is (or will be) dominating the market. This is certainly the case with her latest look, which featured a key footwear style for the season ahead.

Attending a film premiere in L.A., Beckham experimented with her red carpet go-to, dressing up a sleek suit with a fresh spring shoe trend. VB has always been into her heels, but this time, in place of razor-sharp stilettos she plucked a pair of pretty, bow-adorned pumps to complete her evening outfit. Most often seen during party season, bow-detail shoes could also be found on the feet of models in countless S/S '24 runway shows—Erdem, Bottega Veneta and Acne Studios, to name a few—and Beckham is the first celeb we've seen wear them this side of the new year.

Whilst she chose a quieter take on the trend, opting for a style that featured the bow embellishment at the heel, both high-street and designer brands have embraced the bow-shoe trend in more eccentric ways. From Vibi Venezia's bow-strap Mary Janes to Mach & Mach's crystal-embellished pumps, this season, the bow is the star of the show.
