This March 5—9, Who What Wear Australia presents the first ever Reader Edition of #TheStreeties, our annual Street Style Awards. Having previously awarded tastemakers including Brooke Testoni and Chloe Hill with top honours, we’ll be scouting the crowds at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival for women with serious street style game. Ever scrolled through our galleries of seriously chic women outside New York Fashion Week and thought “I could do that?” Or been inspired by local style influencers like Chloe Hill and Sara Crampton to put your own, personal spin on the big trends? We want to hero the personal style of real women now more than ever, and there’s no doubt in our minds that Who What Wear readers are the most stylish in Australia (of course).

So, we hit the streets for the 2018 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival to see our Melbourne-based readers, followers and influencers in action. The warm weather (it still felt like summer) brought out some chic, sunny outfits and clever twists on the big trends. But it was this sweet yellow look that stood out—the mixed prints, the basket bag, every detail worthy of being crowned our very first #TheStreeties: Reader Edition winner!
