I Stalked Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale and Found the Best Wellness Buys
Honestly, our cup seriously runneth over when it comes to summer sales. We just got through Amazon Prime Day, and now Nordstrom has its big Anniversary Sale. I have to say, though, Nordstrom's is always a favorite for me because I like to use the opportunity to get a few things for the rest of the summer and then think forward to fall and stock up on some pieces for later. My friends at Who What Wear have got you covered on all the fashion and beauty finds there.
But the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great time to stock up on activewear and wellness buys. Need to revamp your inventory of leggings and sports bras? There are a lot of options for you. And if you've been wanting to get some new running shoes, you can snag some great deals without having to empty your wallet too much. And low-key, Nordstrom also has some nice self-care products, like bath products, home décor, and more.
So long story short, there's a lot to shop. I've curated a list of some favorites to help you sort through everything, so go ahead and take a look below.
Leggings and Shorts
These are probably the most popular leggings with our readers. They're stretchy, sculpting, and moisture-wicking.
You don't have to worry about chafing here—these Alo leggings have smooth flatlock seaming.
I was a bit wary of the bike-shorts trend, but now that it's summer I've hopped on the train. They just keep you so cool during workouts.
Since these are at ankle length, they're great for petite people. The fabric is moisture-wicking and stretchy, too.
The cool thing about these leggings from Adidas is they're made from partially recycled materials.
Made of high-tech fabric with reflective details, these 7/8-length leggings are great for both studio classes and higher-impact workouts.
You don't have to worry about feeling uncomfortable during your runs because these shorts have Nike's Dri-FIT technology and breathable mesh to keep you cool and dry. There's also a handy pocket to store your keys and other items.
Sports Bras
This moisture-wicking sports bra is great for low-impact workouts like Pilates, barre, and yoga. There's mesh detail in the back for ventilation.
Made with brushed jersey fabric, this sports bra is just so dang comfortable. You can wear it for any low-impact class or workout session.
This medium-impact sports bra is designed for people with larger cup sizes. It provides extra support and coverage, thanks to underwire cups and thin foam pads.
Sweaty Betty's Stamina longline sports bra has wide straps and a long, ribbed band so you'll be comfortable during your workouts.
Here's another underwire sports bra option. It also has wide shoulder straps that are convertible, so you can cross them in the back, too.
If you want more of a sports bra-tank hybrid, this piece from Beyond Yoga is a great option. The fabric is so easy to move in.
Everyone needs a classic sports bra in their closet, and this racerback one fits the bill. It's ideal for studio classes and yoga.
Tops
This soft and breathable tank is lightly compressive with a built-in shelf bra. In short, it's a comfy option!
This tank has a cool twist front detail in the front so you don't have to worry about extra fabric getting in the way.
You'll feel so comfortable in this easy breezy t-shirt. It's moisture-wicking and quick-drying.
Alo's tank is a two-in-one since it has a built-in shelf bra. There's also a crisscrossed strap design in the back.
This relaxed fit cropped tank is made of lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking fabric.
You know how I was talking about using the sale to stock up on finds you'll need for later? This long-sleeved top is exactly what I mean. It will come in handy during outdoor runs or workouts in the fall.
Sneakers
This running shoe is designed to support your natural gait. It also has gel cushioning to absorb impact, plus rubber traction so you can feel stable and supported.
We're getting a lot of throwback vibes with this shoe, thanks to the iconic pinstripes. The cushioning absorbs impact and distributes weight. Plus, the mesh fabric is made with recycled materials.
Nike's training show will get you through any type of workout, whether you're running or doing a HIIT class. The fit is secure but also allows for all types of movement. It has a sole with flex grooves in the tread to mimic natural foot movement.
If you took up hiking during quarantine, you're going to want to invest in a hiking shoe. These boots are lightweight, flexible, and made with recycled materials.
This lightweight sneaker has a breathable mesh upper, plus a cushioned footbed that will support your arches.
You're going to need some socks, so why not use this opportunity to stock up on some at a discount?
Outerwear
While this track jacket will keep you warm when temps are low, that doesn't mean it's super heavy. In fact, it's lightweight and breathable. It also has a stowaway hood.
Not only will you want to wear this cozy fleece jacket during your outdoor workouts, but you'll probably also want to wear it while you're running errands or relaxing.
I'm still not tired of the tie-dye trend, so I'm putting this sweatshirt on my wishlist. It also has side-seam pockets, so that's an added bonus!
This is a great layering option for before and after a yoga or studio class. It's so comfy you'll probably wear it around the house or when you're running errands, too.
Self-Care and Wellness Buys
Herbivore Botanicals's set has pretty much everything you need for a relaxing bath experience: Coconut oil body polish, coconut bath soak, and bath salts.
I'm obsessed with these hair gummies because they really make my hair so much stronger and healthier.
Aromatherapy has so many great benefits—it can help with stress relief and sleep. A diffuser is the best way to take advantage of it. Just add water and essential oils and let it work its magic.
I love using candles to unwind, and Diptyque has some of the best. This set features the brand's most iconic scents.
You get two bestselling Moon Juice supplements in this set: SuperYou, which regulates stress and boosts energy and mood; and SuperHair, which strengthens and protects the hair.
If you need a bit of extra help drifting off to dreamland, this essential oil roll-on and silk eye mask duo could do the trick. The roll-on is a blend of calming French lavender, palmarosa, Roman chamomile, and valerian root.
These supplement tablets are so easy to consume—just drop them in eight ounces of water and enjoy. One tablet has as much vitamin C as six oranges; as much vitamin B5 as 15 cups of broccoli; and as much B12 as seven cups of milk.
