It's Giving Paris—26 Amazon Buys French Women Would Be All Over

Amazon Fashion French Girl Finds

I've officially been studying French style for 12 years, so, by now, I'd like to think I know what makes Gallic girls tick. I hate to stereotype as there will always be exceptions to the rule but, in most instances, I'd say the key to unlocking the French woman's innate sense of style and effortless way of getting dressed is to go back to basics. Get your staples right—well cut blazers, timeless jeans, simple tops and premium-looking knits (with a black-and-white stripe thrown in for good measure)—and you'll find yourself right on course.

With all the buzz around Amazon Prime Day and the subsequent deals found within, I challenged myself to create the chicest French-inspired edit possible solely from Amazon. And you know what? It was easier than I thought it would be.

French women use wardrobe staples to build out their timeless looks; items which Amazon has plenty of.

Turns out, Amazon has many, many expensive-looking pieces right now. Whilst the main deals days are over, there are still a few discounts available. Think classic trench and camel coats that will help you kickstart your wardrobe with ease, Levi's (yes, really), elevated finds such as silk shirts and slip dresses that look beautiful worn after dark and elegant shoes for all occasions. Put simply, if I were to move to Paris, this is the capsule wardrobe I'd set myself up with. It's that chic. I'm a cynic myself, so let me address the elephant in the room: What's the catch? You'll be pleased to hear there isn't one.

What Is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is a two-day sale event exclusively for Amazon Prime members. The sales range from the best of beauty to new in fashion, with plenty of other savings on tech and homeware. We've already got our eyes on the seriously good beauty tools we've been wanting to try, health and wellness items for a summer reboot, home appliances (a couple of the team are in the process of moving), and bits and pieces in between.

When Is Amazon Prime Day 2024?

Amazon Prime Day is a bi-annual event that runs in July and October each year. We will let you know as soon as we find out the next dates.
