I Think Jeans Look Even More Fashionable With These 2024 Shoe Trends
I consider jeans to be one of the chicest wardrobe staples. They’re no-fail and cool and bring effortlessness to a look. The versatility aspect is also noteworthy. You can team just about anything with that perfect pair of denim. And yes, this goes for shoes as well. On that note, I actually think jeans look even more fashionable (if that’s even possible) if they’re paired with a few specific shoe trends right now. Although, in reality, jeans are chic with basically any shoe style.
Below, you’ll uncover my favourite denim-and-footwear combos. The shoe styles in question are forward and also add an of-the-moment feel to a silhouette. As a preview, I’m talking about everything from trendy boots to the prettiest flats around.
Keep scrolling for visual inspiration showcasing said shoe trends along with a range of denim and footwear shopping recommendations.
1. Ballet Flats
Style Notes: As I shared before, ballet flats and jeans just look perfect together, they're just so cool and of the moment. I especially like puddle jeans with this easy, flat shoe trend.

2. Slingbacks
Style Notes: Slingbacks are a classic shoe style that feels particularly trend-forward right now with so many elegant styles rising in popularity. A slightly cropped denim trend feels right here to showcase the full effect of the heel style, but baggy jeans are often the influencer set's style of choice.

3. Trainers (Adidas Sambas/Gazelles)
Style Notes: In the sporty shoe realm, retro kicks like the Adidas Gazelles and Sambas reign supreme as the top choice to wear with just about anything, including jeans.

Black works so well with everything, including denim.
4. Chunky Sandals
Style Notes: I love how a pair of chunky sandals can bring instant polish to a look. The perfect way to stay cool (and look it too), they're an easy way to team absolutely flawlessly with jeans for an elevated, but laidback vibe. It might not be summer quite yet, but it's coming people!
Shop Chunky Sandals:
5. Mules
Style Notes: Want to bring that chic factor to your look? Step into a pair of mules with a slim-legged jean for a retro look that heels decidedly old Hollywood.
