These Kim Kardashian West Shorts Will Really Get People Talking
Kim Kardashian West's outfit choices often command hundreds of headlines, and the latest item sending the internet into a spin is a pair of divisive camo-print shorts. This week, she wore the high-waisted cutoffs in the typical army print for a night in New York City, and despite the mixed reaction to them, this confirms that whether you like it or not, camo is on the up, even if tailored skater-boy shorts may not appeal to everyone's tastes.
Global fashion search engine Lyst revealed that over the past six months, searches for "camo" and "camouflage print" have increased by 18%, and there are 29% more camo shorts on Lyst than this time last year. But jackets are still the most viewed camo products, while camo trousers are the fastest-growing product. And KKW isn't the only celebrity embracing this trend, as Bella Hadid recently wore head-to-toe camo in London, and fashion darling Laura Bailey wore a camo jacket over a wedding-appropriate tiered floral dress. Is everyone already done with polka dots?

Style Notes: Kim Kardashian West wore a pair of slouchy high-waisted camo-print shorts cut off at the thigh to a purposefully awkward length. She paired them with a strappy black tank top, and then (because she's a Kardashian) she added crystal-encrusted stilettos.
Style Notes: Bella Hadid dressed like an extra from Spice World: the Movie, by wearing a camo-print jumpsuit with a black cap and clompy army-style boots.
Style Notes: Judging by the amount of camo print jackets on Topshop right now, they are slowly making a comeback, and this summer Laura Bailey wore one over a pretty tiered floral AlexaChung dress.
Style Notes: Gigi Hadid opted for a more subtle spin on the trend, wearing a faded neutral camo-print tee.
