I Audibly Gasped When I Saw These Stunning Spring Dresses
It finally doesn't feel like a chore to be outside! And accordingly, I've already swapped out my heavy-duty coats and wool sweaters in favor of lightweight jackets and easy-open knits. But more than those pieces, the real star of the warm weather season is the dress. Other than the fact that it's the ultimate time-saver, there's a magic of being out in the sun with a dress that other clothes can't recreate. Thankfully, I've got plenty of options to make that dream happen.
As a person extremely into dresses, I tend to flag and bookmark the ones I come across that truly wow me. The folder has been steadily growing since December—and even more so now with the arrival of spring-summer runway collections finally hitting stores. For some context, chiffon ruffles and lace details are two key trends that are all throughout my list of dress saves. But I'm also an equal opportunist when it comes to style so there are plenty of minimalist dresses and more bohemian ones too. Ahead, keep scrolling to see all of the spring dresses I'm itching to wear at this very moment.
There's something about black lace that feels like you should be eating gelato in the streets of Rome.
If you're too scared to fully embrace the naked trend, this is a more modest way to do it.
My friend has this dress and I'm happy to report that it's just as stunning in person.
Admittedly I'm a bit over prints right now, but I can't help but love this neutral patchwork approach.
Emerging designer Supriya Lele has been on my radar for a while, and this dress is a favorite.
Leave it to Dries to make a dress tailored to perfection.

Indya Brown is a fashion editor, stylist, and writer living in Los Angeles. While going to school at Columbia University in New York City, she got her feet wet in the fashion industry interning at Elle magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and New York magazine's The Cut. After graduating in 2016, she joined The Cut as a fashion assistant, eventually working her way up to fashion editor. There, she worked on a multitude of projects, including styling inbook feature stories for New York magazine's print issue, writing and pitching market stories for The Cut, and serving as fashion lead for The Cut's branded content. While New York has been her home for over 10 years, she moved to Los Angeles in the midst of the pandemic in 2020 for a new chapter. Now she is a fashion market editor for Who What Wear, focusing on emerging designers, rising trends on and off the internet, interior design, and BIPOC creatives and brands. Aside from her duties as a fashion market editor, Brown is also a freelance stylist and writer, working on national print and video commercial campaigns for Sephora, The Independent, and Cadillac. Her bylines also include Harper's Bazaar, Vox, and The New York Times. But once the computer goes down and the emails turn off, she's likely eating her way through Koreatown, hunting down vintage furniture, scoping out new outrageous nail designs to try, or taking a hot cycling class.
