The 3 Cult Accessories That Are Taking Over the Streets of London
With only two more weeks until Christmas (I know!), winter is fully underway. At this time, you may be pulling together Christmas gift ideas, treating yourself with your November pay cheque or filling out your letter to Santa. Whatever the reason, if you're looking for new accessory inspiration, you've come to the right place. Whilst engaging in one of my favourite pastimes, people-watching, I've noticed three cult accessories that are taking over the streets of London.
While it's clear that the puffer's reign shows no sign of waning, I've also noticed that Londoners have embraced the feel-good appeal of interesting accessories. Think bright colours and statement silhouettes. There are three cult items in particular that I keep seeing everywhere: Arket's timeless beanies, ACNE Studios' colourful scarves and Prada's chunky loafers. While varying in aesthetic, each one has the ability to elevate cold-weather basics without compromising on practicality. So if you're wondering which accessories London's best dressed are wearing this winter, scroll down to see more.
1. Arket Beanies
Last season, Arket's Beanie's in flouro colours flooded the streets. For winter 2022, bold shades are back alongside plenty of muted tones for the more minimalist wardrobes.
The full-black ensemble is so chic and certainly warm with Arket's cashmere and merino beanie.

2. ACNE Scarves
Acne Studios' scarves have featured heavily on our editors' wish lists for a while now. The bold tones inject colour into these darker winter days.
Alongside the bold iterations, more muted checked patterns are available too.

3. Prada Loafers
Loafers are undoubtedly a staple shoe that can be worn all year round with everything from miniskirts for sunny days to classic jeans and even tailoring.
Prada's loafers may be an investment, but you'll definitely find plenty of ways to style them, reducing the cost per wear of this timeless shoe.
