The #1 Piece You Need for Holiday Travel
With the busiest travel week of the year quickly coming up, the last thing you want to worry about while preparing to brave the Thanksgiving crowds (or any holiday crowd) at the airport is whether or not your outfit is appropriate. Here at Who What Wear, we do a lot of celebrity airport style research, and we oftentimes pick up on clear sartorial favorites of the frequent-flying celeb set. One of those favorites that's especially relevant this time of year is a trench coat. Everyone from Miranda Kerr to Alexa Chung wears this classic outerwear option on repeat.
The reason a trench is brilliant to throw on on top of your airport outfit? It's lightweight yet provides some warmth and coverage; it instantly pulls together whatever outfit it's worn with (even sweats and sneakers); and, if you need to put it in your carry-on, it'll fit much more easily than, say, a bomber jacket or some other bulky type of outerwear. Be sure to stick to a neutral color to ensure it can be worn with everything in your wardrobe (as most celebs do). Ready for a little trench coat inspo?
Keep scrolling to see some of the celebs who regularly rock trench coats at the airport, and shop our stylish picks!
