Treggings and Flip-Flops? Ashley Olsen Says Yes

We've already established that treggings are a thing (aka trouser-leggings hybrids) and that the Olsens are pro-flip-flops. So we weren't exactly surprised to see Ashley Olsen step out in a comfortable treggings-and–flip-flops outfit combination this week. She made the polarizing pieces look chic by sticking to a monochromatic color palette and pairing them with a cozy tunic sweater. We're particularly smitten with her treggings' front slit, which proves that the trend can take on many different forms—e.g., stirrup treggings, velvet treggings, and paneled treggings (check out some of our favorite pairs here).

Given Olsen's endorsement of treggings and flip-flops—and the fact that she and sister Mary-Kate included treggings in their F/W 16 collection for The Row (could a pair of The Row flip-flops be next?)—it's safe to say that we may have a new go-to off-duty outfit on our hands.
