Anna Wintour Just Endorsed Gen-Z Yellow
While it’s no secret that Anna Wintour oversees the Met Gala and is heavily involved with every detail for the annual event, she’s also a longtime patron of theater and is responsible for revamping the red carpet at the Tony Awards recently. So it’s no surprise that the Vogue editor in chief and Condé Nast artistic director showed up tonight at the 2018 Tony Awards in New York City.
Wintour arrived on the red carpet with her daughter, Bee Shaffer, with her signature bob. She wore a floor-sweeping bright yellow Prada dress, adorned with sequins and floral appliqués, as well as a choker necklace which she frequently wears with many outfits. What’s most noteworthy about her look is the color. The vibrant shade falls into the much-discussed Gen Z–yellow trend that the fashion world has been debating in recent months. But with Wintour’s endorsement, we can only predict to see more of it.
