Thanks, TikTok, I'd Never Wanted to Decorate My Home for Fall Until Now
Sponsor Content Created With Walmart
Throw me a beauty tutorial, styling video, or recipe how-to on TikTok, and I'm down to try it. Home décor and decorating videos are a completely different story, however, and only because I have little-to-no restraint when it comes to sprucing up my place. I guess being stuck at home for the past seven months will do that to you.
Lucky for me, a lot of the videos gaining steam on the app feature affordable pieces from Walmart—I'm talking $200 or less! So even though I've never been one to decorate based on seasons, TikTok influencers Melissa Frusco, Christine Higgs, and Cindi Yang are making me want to follow their lead. Continue scrolling for three inspiring room transformation ideas for fall (and be sure to thank TikTok for your newfound obsession with seasonal home décor).
1. Melissa Frusco's Hotel-Style Bedroom
I have multiple sets of bedding for when I have guests, but I've never thought to switch things up in my room with seasonal colors. "Now that colder weather has hit New York, I want to add warmer linens and colors to my bedroom," says Melissa Frusco. "New bedding is an easy and inexpensive way to instantly give your room new life." I'm on board with this.

2. Christine Higgs's Calming Floral Nook
Like Christine Higgs, I've preserved my wedding flowers, so I feel especially inspired by how she found a special place for hers in her home. "This space is the first thing I see when I walk down the stairs in the morning and is in an area where we hang out all the time. It’s important to me that it feels calming, welcoming, and inspiring, especially for a new season," she says. Now I just need to find a display cabinet…

3. Cindy Yang's Cozy Living Room
Fall has the best colors, weather, and scents, and Cindi Yang threw all those together to create the ultimate comfy living room. "I love incorporating different textures, woods, and muted-yet-contrasting colors. I like everyone to feel welcome and at-home as soon as they walk in." It looks like a fall wonderland if you ask me.
