If I Gift Any Jewellery This Christmas, It'll Be This

There's no denying it: I'm a jewellery addict. And as a fashion editor, this is something that I can get away with saying is an integral part of my job. I'm often shown collections in advance, and when I saw the latest Magic Stars drop by THOMAS SABO, I wasn't disappointed. I'm all for zodiac jewellery, and this collection's host of sterling silver– and yellow gold–plated star and moon designs made me think of only one thing: gifting.

While I'm a last-minute shopper (believe me—I wish I wasn't), I try to carve out a rough outline in my head of what my friends and family will like. It's usually tricky to remember them all, but this year they’ll all be getting an item from the Magic Stars collection. In all honestly, I can't think of anyone I know who wouldn't want to unwrap these on the big day.

The crescent moon and star earrings are perfect for party season.

Of course, I can't forget my own jewellery obsession, so I've naturally been eyeing the moon and star earrings to wear with all my upcoming party-season outfits (along with the pearl-adorned pieces I'll wear long into the New Year).

Although the collection is encrusted with sparkling zirconia and glass-ceramic stones, there's something about this particular edit that makes them wearable every day, too. As we all look to a new year with optimism, why not gift your favourite people with one of the THOMAS SABO pieces that symbolise hope, happiness and connection? This is exactly what I'll be doing–shh, don't tell anyone!
