This Popular Outfit Formula Requires Just Two Pieces (and Looks So Expensive)
When it comes to warm-weather dressing, I tend to rely on easy outfit formulas that require little effort yet look pulled together and polished. Luckily, I just found my new go-to summer look straight off the runway. The fall runway. Yep, Prada served up the perfect warm-weather ensemble at its F/W 22 show made up of just two chic and simple components: a white tank top and a midi skirt.
Obviously, this was Prada, so the tank top was logoed and the midi skirt was beautifully embellished, but it immediately got me excited to try the look for myself with a few affordable (but equally chic) alternatives. The two-piece outfit formula feels refreshingly cool and can easily be paired with heeled mules or cushy sandals for summer. The best way to finish the summer look is just like Kaia Gerber on the runway, with hair slicked back into a bun and glowing makeup—altogether chic and perfect for those long summer days.
If you want to emulate the look for yourself, take a look at the coolest white-tank-top-and-midi-skirt combinations I’ve paired from our favorite retailers that look luxe but won’t cost a fortune.
