I'm Traveling This Summer and Packing Light—35 Chic Items That Are Making the Cut

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.
This summer, a European vacation is in the cards, and since I'm visiting family and friends in a few different countries (and plan to buy plenty of cool finds on my way), my goal is to travel light—well, as light as I can get for being a fashion editor. This means relying on plenty of versatile and multitasking pieces that I can easily mix and match yet still feel fashion-forward. Think white linen pants, tank tops, jelly shoes, and day-to-night dresses. Accessories are also important, as they can amp up summer basics in an instant and tend not to take up too much space in my suitcase. If you too are yearning to pack a little lighter this summer, then take a look at the chic and breezy pieces that will serve you for numerous warm-weather occasions—day and night.
Tops
A chic white tank is a summer must, and I like to pack a scoop-neck as well as a boatneck option.
Another chic white tank—because they don't take too much room, and I wear them with everything!
You'll always find an effortless, relaxed button-down in lightweight linen (or cotton) in my suitcase.
A chic and polished linen vest is ideal for so many summer occasions—from sunset to sunrise.
Bottoms
Effortlessly elegant—ideal for styling with all different types of summer tops.
I'll be styling these shorts exactly like the model (as well as a million other different ways).
Striped pants are a nice alternative to jeans in summer. They feel breezy yet put together.
Dresses & Sets
I'm leaning into this season's trending butter-yellow hues with this cute mini.
The best part about this chic set is you can also wear them as separates with practically everything on this list.
Shoes
Swimwear
A polka-dot bikini is fashion-forward and never really goes out of style.

Accessories
Is it even summer if you're not toting a raffia bag? This one is exceptionally chic.
A colorful silky scarf you can wear on your head, around your neck, around your raffia bag straps—so many chic ways!
Lightweight Layers
