With a couple of vacations on the horizon and lots of beach days ahead, this summer, I really want my style to pop, which is why I did a deep dive into this season's hottest trends to uncover which would help me achieve the upgraded style I'm craving this year. So far, the arsenal of summer 2021 trends is truly noteworthy, but I know the six trends ahead will instantly make my seasonal wardrobe dazzle.
Unlike last summer, we're now seeing an uptick in bright colors, crazy prints, and—believe it or not—heels. People are finally getting excited to get dressed again, and I am here to make sure that process is as easy as can be. If you're like me and can't wait to put on a brand-new summertime 'fit and head out with your friends, then I have a feeling you'll fall in love with the six trends ahead. From the dress trend that's booming to new jewelry you should never take off, this list has it all.
Printed Pants
Printed pants are the easiest way to liven up your outfit of the day. Most fashion girls have been pairing theirs with simple white tank tops or tees and an array of accessories, and they have quickly proven that swapping your go-to pair of jeans for something a bit more wild is always a good idea.

Halter Dresses
Halter dresses have been popping up all over the place lately, and we can only expect to see even more once summer is in full swing. Since Y2K style has been trending hard this year, the return of this particular dress style is really no surprise, but we're excited nonetheless.
Shop the trend:
Bright Button-Downs
Button-down shirts are nothing new, but the really colorful ones that have been saturating the market lately feel fresh indeed. Whether you plan to wear yours with jean shorts or plan to use it as a swimsuit cover-up, opt for one in a hue you might not normally go for this season.
Shop the trend:
Beaded Jewelry
There's nothing more summer appropriate than your ears, neck, wrists, and ankles doused in colorful beaded jewelry. Now that bold statement jewelry is starting to replace the delicate gold pieces we once lived in, that gives you even more reason to stock up on the joyous jewelry ahead.
Shop the trend:
Groovy Prints
Groovy prints are certainly the hottest trend of the summer. From swimwear to accessories and back again, the more retro feeling the print, the better.
Shop the trend:
Colorful Heels
Have I stopped talking about colored heels this season? No, I have not. To me, they really just make sense for this time. As people are finally getting excited to get dressed again, a bold pair of shoes is just what the doctor ordered.
