When it comes to summer date-night outfits, simplicity is vital. But simple doesn't have to mean boring. Summer is my favorite season to go on dates. I mean, what's more fun than a summer romance? The season has just begun, meaning those of us still on the market for our summer crush still have time to meet our lucky summer suitors. In the meantime, I'm preparing for when I meet the lucky person who gets to sweep me off my feet by putting together easy and totally chic date-night outfit formulas that are perfect for any occasion. Is the bra top and blazer look back? For a date night, my vote is yes. This is the perfect look for a weekend date to grab drinks. It's fun and sexy but feels laid back and cool when paired with jeans. I love this look for a first date because it works well for a night out with your friends if your date doesn't go well.
Maxi Dress + Statement Earrings
Summer is when a maxi dress really shines, and pairing it with statement earrings turns the heat up to make this look a 10 out of 10. I recommend leaning into the sea-inspired accessory trend and trying seashell earrings. This look never fails.
Poplin Shirt + Tank + Denim
This is the perfect look for a day date. Whether you're grabbing spritzes together on Saturday afternoon or coffee on Sunday morning, this all-white outfit is polished yet relaxed. Plus, who doesn't love an all-white look for the summer?
Minidress + Ballet Flats
This isn't my go-to look for a date since I'm on the shorter side and tend to opt for heels. But I love the idea of wearing a look like this to a park date in New York City or for coffee or brunch. The mini hemline adds just enough flirtation to balance out the casual nature of ballet flats.
