12 Airport Outfits to Wear Beyond Just Baggage Claim
This summer, when it comes to traveling and airport outfits, if you want to switch it up and shift away from athleisure, we have some ideas to inspire you. Think about which outfits you would wear at your destination that are also comfortable enough to be airport-friendly. For example, a slip dress paired with a hoodie, that flowy dress you were planning to wear to dinner with slide sandals, or a pajama suit instead of sweats. Regardless of your styling preferences, just think loose and casual clothing with the right light layers that will allow you to fly in style without sacrificing comfort.
That being said, these looks ahead will prove that any summer outfit can become an airport outfit when you think outside the box.
If you're going to do athleisure, go for cashmere numbers.
A sweater over your favorite slip dress will keep you warm on the flight, but once you land, it will look cool stylishly wrapped around your neck.
Sometimes your suitcase is the perfect statement piece.
Monochrome pajama sets look classy whether you're catching some shut-eye in-flight or a cab to your dinner reservation.
These boots are made for walking (and flying) all over the world.
Summer dresses and mules are the ultimate TSA-friendly outfit combo.
White tops can never do any wrong—no matter where you're heading or how you're traveling.
You can never beat a pair of soft denim jeans that are comfortable enough to survive a flight and chic enough to quickly explore your vacay destination.
A crossbody bag big enough to fit all your travel-size beauty products will also work flawlessly with all your planned outfits.
Double up on neutrals.
The right amount of light layers can make any airport outfit look effortlessly chic.
All that's missing is a suitcase. Bon voyage!
