Stylists spend all day shopping for other people, but what I want to know is what they buy for themselves. After all, they need to be comfortable enough for long days on their feet, and they also likely want to dress the part of their chosen profession as well. So I went straight to the source to find out what a stylist considers to be her wardrobe must-haves in 2021.

Dana Asher Levine is a Los Angeles–based stylist who counts Shonda Rhimes (pictured above) as a longtime client, as well as a host of other Hollywood executives and women of all ages and body types. She's also the founder of The Clothing Therapist, which offers closet edits, event styling, editorial styling, and more.

The list Levine provided me with is a great mix of basics and trend-forward items, all of which are relevant to the new era we're living in. Keep scrolling for her expert incite and to shop her must-haves.
