All I really want this season is to fill my wardrobe with the brightest hues and the chicest trends, and I don't feel like spending an excess amount of money to do so. You might be rolling your eyes, but trust me when I tell you this mission is possible when you make Macy's your go-to destination.

The legacy retailer has long been one of our best-kept secrets, but this season, the selection is so good we need to scream it from the rooftops. Case in point: Who What Wear associate editor Aniyah Morinia and iconic fashion girl Natalie Lim Suarez have both been turning to Macy's for all of their favorite spring trends, and they told me all about it. If you're on the hunt for this season's must-haves like I am, then don't sleep on these looks (seriously). See which pieces the two fashion experts have picked below.

"My top two trends of the season are probably the preppy aesthetic (including miniskirts, loafers, and classic buttons) and shades of green. I've seen these trends play out on and off the runway, and I feel like they have staying power. I love that the preppy style can be applied to almost any wardrobe in a way that feels authentic and true to whoever is wearing it. We see this trend being recycled all the time, and I'm always happy to see the comeback." — Aniyah Morinia, associate editor

"I really love low-key luxury all spring long. I like my everyday style to feel effortlessly put together, and I found this amazing tweed set from Macy's. It's a fresh take on a classic suit set in a beautiful lilac color. It also falls a bit into the prep-school trend that's happening right now! Just layer it with a classic white button-down, and give it a chic pair of loafers. There are a million ways to wear this tweed set depending on your mood." — Natalie Lim Suarez, content creator

"If you're looking to expand or curate a new spring wardrobe, you know how overwhelming it can be to shop the latest. The temptation to buy anything and everything is real, but I recommend staying true to your style and only buying into trends that will stand the test of time. For example, green has been trending heavily lately, and it's truly all I want to wear these days, whether that's a green bag to complement a neutral outfit or a green monochromatic look." — Morinia

"My top two trends would have to be the maxi dress and any vacation-inspired trend. The maxi dress is a spring trend that will always stick with me. This Lauren Ralph Lauren gown is perfectly simple. It works so well with an elegant pair of flats on the way to a meeting or barefoot on the beach. I can wear this piece for so many different occasions. Spring is all about feeling fresh and confident in your own skin. As for vacation-inspired fashion, I love simple and pretty nautical colors. The jumpsuit I'm wearing today is super sleek and sophisticated yet still playful. It's the perfect piece to style with a straw hat or take somewhere beautiful like the South of France. Simple hoop earrings are all you need to complete the look." — Suarez

Nayiri is Who What Wear's senior fashion editor for branded content and based in her hometown, Los Angeles. It all began in 2014 when she landed an internship at the company and never looked back. While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
