I Tried on the Perfect Amazon Jeans With So Many Glowing Reviews

If the word "jeans" makes you cringe lately, trust me, I feel you. Sweatpants, sweatshorts, leggings, house dresses, and bike shorts have infiltrated my wardrobe over the past several months and I'd almost forgotten what denim feels like against my knees. That said, I do love jeans, and fall will be here before we know it, so I think it's time for me to reintroduce them into my life. Anyone with me?
If the answer is yes, let's move onto the next step: new jeans. If you're not incredibly keen on wearing jeans again, you're also probably not all that keen on spending a lot of money on a new pair. But luckily, we have Amazon to help us out with that. Between its in-house brands and the brands it stocks, there are a lot of affordable options to choose from. Keyword, a lot, so I did a deep dive into the customer reviews and came out with an intriguing pair that I had to try for myself. They're a wide-leg cropped pair by Amazon brand Daily Ritual. Keep reading for my firsthand review.
As you can see, Daily Ritual's Wide-Leg Crop Jeans are quite cropped (I'm 5'4" and the inseam is 25.5"). Lately, I've been gravitating toward more full-length styles with finished hems, but there are no rules anymore, and reviewers said things like "These are the best fitting jeans I have ever worn," and "I'm just so grateful and happy that the quality of these jeans is top-notch. Yep, these jeans look super expensive and designer-ish."
Plus, I love a good exposed button-fly. Amazon had provided me with a gift code to select from some of their in-house brands, so I figured there was no time like the present to give these $40 babies a try. Keep on scrolling.
What I'm wearing: H&M Collar-Detail T-Shirt ($15); Staud Simone Mules ($265); KJP iPhone Case ($30)
When I took them out of the package, my first thought was that the denim felt very soft and stretchy and that I hoped they wouldn't stretch out too much. Upon trying them on, I was instantly impressed by the fit (for reference, these are a size 26) and how flattering they were. As for the length, they're definitely on the short side, but they would make for a great summer-to-fall pair, which is certainly timely.
I gave the jeans the ultimate test and wore them for a full WFH day and they were certainly comfortable enough not even make me consider changing out of them. They stretched out just a bit, but I liked the fit even more when they did. All in all, I give them 4.5 stars out of 5 and think they're a worthy purchase, especially considering the comfort level and the price point, and only knocked off half a star because I wish they were a couple of inches longer, but that doesn't mean they're less than perfect in every other respect. The jeans come in several different washes to choose from (I went with Authentic Blue). Keep scrolling to shop the jeans, as well as more of my favorite jeans on Amazon.
