I've Followed This Scandi Brand for 3 Years—Now the Secret's Out
As fashion editors, we're constantly asking ourselves one important question: Which up-and-coming brands have what it takes to make it big? Sometimes, we fall in love with an indie label only to have it shutter within a couple of years, but other times, our fashion radar is on-point.
My obsession with Stand Studio definitely falls into the latter category. I first became acquainted with the brand when it showed during Stockholm Fashion Week in January 2017. Since then, it's made the jump over to the larger scene at Copenhagen Fashion Week, where the brand will debut its F/W 20 collection today. Plus, it's been spotted on everyone from Bella Hadid to Katy Perry.
To learn more about the brand, I tapped Copenhagen Fashion Week's CEO, Cecilie Thorsmark, for her take. "Stand Studio is not just another brand on our show schedule. It's a brand with a very unique and very visible DNA with its high-quality leather items paired with bold and daring designs," Thorsmark told Who What Wear. "It's important to us that our fashion week represents the full spectrum of what Scandinavian fashion has to offer, and I believe that Stand Studio is an important contribution to this ambition."

Next, these five street style trends are dominating at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 14 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Kate and Meghan stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible.
