This Sandal Trend Is Everywhere This Year

There are certain sandal trends that remain constant—among them leather slides, two-strap black leather, and sturdy Birkenstocks at the beach. However, one of 2020's top sandal trends is a bit more left-field. This season, practically all of the key sandals feature an angular square toe. By Far and Jacquemus kick-started the look, but Bottega Veneta has officially put them on the style agenda with its sellout, angular-toe mules.

That said, you don't necessarily need a designer budget to get in on the trend. There are plenty of pairs on the high street that also adhere to the square-toe trend, with some of our favourite pairs hailing from Topshop and Zara.

If you still need convincing, take a look at the inspiring outfits featuring square-toe sandals below. Then, proceed to see our edit of the best square-toe sandals.
