6 On-Trend Ways to Wear Your Skinny Jeans
While many of us probably aren't wearing jeans a ton right now, there may be interest in saving some denim inspiration for later. So I thought I’d focus on some cute skinny-jean looks worth noting. Specifically, I wanted to zero in on a few easy and stylish ways to transition your favorite skinny jeans into spring and summer.
Essentially, I was inspired by this trendy ensemble Jennifer Lopez wore featuring skinnies in a lighter wash, a pastel blazer rather than a dark-colored iteration, and a cool graphic tee instead of a turtleneck. What you’ll find below is a few past celeb street style snaps highlighting chic, warmer-weather skinny-jean outfits. And if you’re shopping at the moment, I also rounded up some products for each to get the look.
On Jennifer Lopez: Balmain Long Double-Breasted Grain de Poudre Blazer ($2595); Coach x Richard Bernstein T-Shirt With Barbra Streisand ($95); Zcd Montreal sneakers; Quay Australia x JLO Jaded 146mm Flat Top Sunglasses ($65)
As I stated above, this transitional look is ideal with the pastel hues.

On Winnie Harlow: Dior bag
Rather than opting for your standard wool coat and sweater, mix in a graphic tee and a slouchier bomber jacket for an easy denim 'fit.

On Lucy Hale: Madewell jeans
Need something a bit warmer for a slightly chillier spring day? Tuck a knit into your skinny jeans for a very-right-now vibe. Flat mules complete the ensemble.

On Jasmine Tookes: Chanel bag
A blazer—either in a shrunken or an oversize silhouette—brings instant polish to a crop top and skinny jeans.

WHO: Jessica Alba
While an all-black look is often a fall and winter go-to, it can work for warmer months if you play with different textures and shades like this look featuring the sheer top, jacket, faded jeans, and boots.
Shop the look:
On Chrissy Teigen: Grlfrnd jeans; Adriana Iglesias robe
While a bodysuit and distressed jeans work flawlessly on their own, the addition of a lightweight jacket amps up a denim look even more.
