That's right—VIP Nordstrom stylist Rose Hayes shared the general items she thinks are great because of the A+ options included in the sale, stellar pricing, and so on. As a preview, there's everything from the best spring dresses to chic shoe styles included in the mix.

Spring Dresses
"You can expect to see more 'buy now/wear now' items on sale such as spring dresses. This sale will have the items you want to wear now vs. saving them for next year. Plan on picking up both casual and dressier dresses during the spring sale. One or two new midi dresses will come in handy for all the upcoming fun events."
Going-Out Tops
"During the warmer months, you will want to have fresh new tops for going out! Keep an eye out for pretty floral patterns with puffy sleeves. Bold colors such as yellow, orange, blue, hot pink, and green are trending and look great with white jeans."
Sandals
"Get excited to save big time on spring sandals too! Look for open-toe sandals that will work with dresses skirts, shorts, and jeans. Add some braided open-toe block heel sandals to your mix. I always recommend practical basic colors but then add one or two fun colors to give pizazz to your spring outfits."
Oversize Blazers
"Oversize blazers and trousers worn with sneakers, slides, or heels is the cool-girl uniform. If you’re fortunate and see a blazer or a set on sale, I recommend to hit the ‘buy now’ button."
Denim
"It's always a smart idea to stock up on basics like denim, especially if they’re on sale. Look for ankle-length straight-leg jeans in light washes. I also like high-rise wide-leg ankle-length jeans."
Athletic Clothing and Sneakers
"I tell my clients to buy new athletic clothing and sneakers during the sale. New workout gear will motivate you to work out and stay in shape for swimsuit season. Since I don’t like to spend a lot on clothes to get sweaty in, finding them on sale is a win!"
Chic Handbags
"A new handbag gives me all the feels of the first day of school walking in with a new book bag! If you find a handbag that speaks to you, treat yourself! Micro bags are so cute, but larger bags and totes are trending and obviously very practical. This is a category where you can save a lot when you find one on sale."
Cotton Sweaters
"Cotton sweaters with pretty details or stripes will come in handy when the AC is chilly or when temps drop in the evening. Keep an eye out for short sleeves when shopping the sale. I like to drape a sweater over my shoulders for interest and warmth."
