While the rest of the world debates the pros and cons of TikTok versus Instagram and which social media app will ultimately prevail, we're just over here toggling between the two to bring you the latest on what's trending in the virtual fashion world. Some could say we're even a little TikTok obsessed over here, given that we've dove into everything from the makeup trends we're inspired to try to the latest fashion aesthetic to emerge. But in any case, scrolling through the app is our journalistic duty, and on my latest scrolling frenzy, I couldn't help but notice how the app's digital creators are styling some excellent spring 'fits these days.

Their outfits incorporate some of the coolest trends of the moment, and I'm officially inspired to start re-creating these formulas ASAP. With spring on the brain (and more reasons to reemerge into the world), I've rounded up the top eight outfit trends I've seen, and of course, I am providing all the shopping options to get these looks, too. From the trendy basic 'fit fashion girls will be taking their coffee runs in to the ultimate Y2K inspiration, take a look at the best spring outfits on TikTok below.

1. Bodysuit + Oversize Blazer + Baseball Hat

I had just published a story on why I think this outfit idea will be popular this summer when I opened up TikTok to find several stylish ladies already testing out the look. If that's not proof that it's a thing, I don't know what is. Regardless, a bodysuit with shorts and a big blazer makes for the easy-but-cute ensemble you can throw on for coffee runs and errands.

2. Halter Top + Tennis Skirt + Shoulder Bag

With summer on the horizon, the warm-weather trends are coming back with a vengeance. One look I'm seeing a lot of is this combination of a tennis skirt, crop top, and shoulder bag.

3. All the Brown Tones

While this look can easily be accomplished with any combination of items, it's more about the overall color palette—a delicious assortment of brown and tan tones that create a cool monochromatic effect.

4. Camp Shirt + Printed Pants

In case you missed it somehow, "party pants" are the maximalist trend that's taking over. Trust me. They only look intimidating but are actually so fun to wear. Style them with a camp shirt in a coordinating color for a summery 'fit.

5. Velour Tracksuit + Platform Flip-Flops

It's 2021, but it might as well be 2001. That's right. The iconic Juicy Couture tracksuits are making a return right now, and the cool girls of TikTok are going full-tilt Y2K, styling the velour sets with another throwback trend, platform flip-flops.

6. Leather Blazer + Bra Top + Loose Jeans

Calling all jeans lovers—baggy jeans are the denim du jour, and TikTok is giving us a perfect way to wear them all season long. Styled with a blazer, bra top, and strappy sandals, you really can't go wrong.

7. Blazer + Minidress + "Dad" Sneakers

Speaking of blazers, fashion girls' obsession with leather blazers isn't going anywhere just because it's getting warmer out. Instead, they're styling the jacket on top of summery minidresses and finishing it off with everyone's favorite "dad" sneakers.

8. Second-Skin Top + Faux-Leather Pants + Ankle Boots

The fashion side of TikTok is also flooded with these printed mesh tops—dubbed "second-skin tops"—and they're the perfect piece to throw on with leather trousers and ankle boots.
